The FET ELC (Domestic Ethernet Leased Circuit) can provide enterprise clients with an exclusive leased circuit service that has a different interface and bandwidth from the traditional circuit.
Features
ELC is a high quality leased circuit data service that provides flexible bandwidth settings.
This service is built on the Next Generation Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (NG-SDH), in conjunction with the hybrid network infrastructure of Carrier Ethernet Networks, and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology. It can provide an“end to end” data transfer service that is more flexible and has sufficient bandwidth to meet the demands of enterprise clients.

With the increasing demand for leased circuits. Enterprise clients also require more customization options to establish their company private networks.
ELC provides clients with familiar ethernet interfaces; clients can select a multitude of transfer bandwidths from 2M to 10G.
Application types
ELC can be categorized into three application types :

Further divided into local ELC and long distance ELC : Local ELC: 3 service ranges, ≤ 10km, 10 ~ 20 (including) km, and > 20km Long distance ELC: 3 service ranges, class 1, 2, and 3. All speeds and rates are defined as end-to-end. |
ELC can serve as the access circuit for broadband connections. |
ELC can serve as the access circuit for IP-VPNs. |
Service range
The FET ELC service range is the same as the FET Domestic Leased Circuit. The difference is that both ends of the clients' leased circuit must have NCIC optical fibers entering the buildings. Currently, your service area includes all cities and counties except Hualien, Taitung, and offshore islands.
