FET is actively deploying IoT and 5G, using a telecom network to provide communication services; with the help of connectivity management platforms, it can help customers to learn the traffic and status of SIM cards. FET has also developed IoT application platform services to help enterprises quickly respond to market demands. As for vertical integration applications, it has crossed into connected car, smart street lights, smart parking, smart buildings, smart detection, asset tracking, smart healthcare, energy management, and other IoT integration application services.

In addition, FET has also established an IoT ecosystem with its partners and released Taiwan’s first “IoT Ecosystem Manual” with the Cloud Computing & IoT Association in Taiwan, and is actively integrating resources for the ecosystem as well as promoting industry alliances. FET outlined the look of the IoT industry from the demand end, and promoted product innovation and development through integration of different resources; and then helped the government create outstanding industrial environments and built demonstration fields from the supply end, injecting innovative power for industries.
